Gee Ralph, its the lack of a straight face that's wrong with the show?  
I guess I was hung up on it being populated by folks who didn't seem to 
do anything or care about anything, who weren't funny, and could not 
compete for my attention with the commercials that mercifully interrupt 
them.  Thank goodness someone invented the remote control!
