I remember him, his name is Curt I can't remember his entire call though,
something--6--H E F.

He actually ran the net on Saturday mornings on the 145.41 repeater in the
San Francisco bay area. I used to love those nets. I used to listen to them
on my Bearcat BC210XLT (remember those), before I got my license and for a
long time after I was licensed as well. I learned a lot about the equipment
that was out there and its relative value.
and after that net ran down he was asked to pick up a swap net on the
147.195 repeater on mount Vaca on Tuesday evenings (or was it Thursday).
WU7Q (mike) also took that net, did they alternate?

Before the days of the PC and the BrailleNote, I used a brailler to write
things down. I remember one guy who was a net control for a swap net and I
could hear his Perkins going, (grin). Now, I'd use my BrailleNote.
