Wow! Thanks. I didn't realize just how closely the KG-UV8D matches with the
older UV1D.

I'm writing the eyes-free guide for the KG-UV8D now, since I have this rig.

Would it be OK if I use the CTCSS and menu listings in my guide if I
acknowledge and link back to yours?
