Hi there,

The Selectatenna is a neat little device that comes in a plastic housing,
about a foot or so in diameter that sits near an AM radio's regular
ferrite antenna. It has a tuning know that you turn to a point where you
get maximum signal. Then you can turn the whole thing to optimize the
signal level of the desired station.

C Crane company at:

http://www.ccrane.com

has sold these for years, and I understand they now offer even more
powerful such devices at slightly higher prices.
