Hmmh, I don't know about that, but last week my Stream said
checking files when I turned it on. That happened for a few
times when turning the Stream on, but has not said that in maybe
a week or so, Jim WA6EKS

I've seen a similar behavior with my stream v3 and bookshare
books. after
stream removal the folder remains with a file called
book2005dt or the like.
I wrote to humanware support and bookshare about this and they
both blamed
the other agency.

I have occasionally to put the card in the computer and go remove
all those
not quite empty folders or they slow down the stream after a
while.
This seems only to happen with bookshare daisy books.

 Here is an odd one.

When I remobe a talking book from my SD card in the stream, the
bookshelf
 shows one less book.

If I put the SD card in the computer, and look at it with
windows exploorer,
the number of foolders hasn't changed.

Upon further investigation, the deleeted book folder is still
there, but
there are only two files inside it.

Has anybody else noticed this odd behavior?

Maybe the stream wants to be windows, and not remove everything
it should.
