Hi, all.

I believe a few on this list have had experience in dealing with Main
Trading Company as a way of trading in old gear, and then applying the
trade-in funds toward the purchase of new equipment.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could share their experiences.

As you all know, I'm currently trying to sell my AL811H amplifier, my Tentec
Scout 555, and my Tentec 238A high-power manual tuner as a way to acquire
funds to be used for the purchase of a new high-power auto-tuner, and
solid-state amplifier.

About a week ago, I posted my ads on eham, and actually may have a serious
offer on my Tentec Scout setup. My other ads have come up dry, though.

I'm still considering posting the ads to ebay, and some of the other sites
that have been suggested here, but thought I'd investigate Main Trading
Company as well.

Of course, the advantage of Main Trading Company is that there may be a
quicker turn-around time if the trade-ins are accepted. However, the down
side is that I am likely not to get as much for the older equipment as I
would if I sold it privately.
