John, it's okay, phone didn't kill the hobby, sideband didn't kill the
hobby, 2 meter FM didn't kill the hobby, repeaters didn't kill the hobby,
the Internet didn't kill the hobby, cell phones didn't kill the hobby. Each
of theese things have changed the hobby, and given new employment outlets
for people who are also interested in ham radio. Each of theese things has
allowed hams to expand the things they can do with in ham radio. What is
killing the hobby, is old age. We are thrilled to have the new people
joining in the hobby.
