when the dust settles, I can talk you through configuring the function keys
on the computer keyboard for sending CW exchanges via the N3FJP logging
software.

This is how I do CW exchanges in the various contests I work.

Thanks, Steve. This is exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had it in
the format you sent, but couldn't get my hands on that file when I needed it
yesterday.

The list confirms that what I really wanted to do isn't doable.

What I wanted to do was re-assign one of the CW message keys to the PFB key.
Where they are, you have too much likely hood of hitting the wrong button,
especially when you are in a hurry.

Oh well, it's a nice thought anyway.
