Don,

I have bought a lot of equipment from R and L and I've been very happy with
their service. One thing to keep in mind though is the cost of shipping. H
R O usually has free shipping for anything over $100. IF shipping is more
than $10 from R and L, H R O might be the better choice.

The Tmv71A comes with a mic, manual and 12 volt power cord and that's it.

Subject: Kenwood TMV71A

Hello all,

Looking at the Kenwood TMV71A and know lots if not most or all of you own
this radio.

So figured before buy one would ask a couple of simple questions.

What all comes with it out of the box and to operate the radio would I just
need to purchase the vgs1 for speech readout or should I also purchase the
computer interface package too?

R&L has the radio for $359.95 is why was asking as it's the lowest price
have seen so far from the different resources have saved in my internet
browser favorites.

GigaParts shows it for $369.95, Universal shows it for $369.95, Ham Radio
shows it for $369.95.

So thinking about purchasing it from R&L; but, need to know what else
recommend in order to operate the radio out of the box?

These prices are all with the $30 off coupon.

Tnx cul 73 nr4dr
