Hi John;
I haven't used this radio much since last Winter when antennas came down.
Funny what you can forget. It was in the radio right and worked like a
charm. You select it with menu 46 but that doesn't seem to activate it.
When I press the filter button I still have to turn the multi-channel knob
to vary the band width which I could do without the cw filter. I suspect
there is another menu setting to activate it?

far as I know, you activate it in the menu and then use the filter button to
turn it on and off. is it in the radio right?

Hi Everyone;
I realize this is very old for some folks but I have just dusted off my
570sdx in preparation for an antenna raising. After skimming through the
manual I am at a loss as to how to turn on the 500hz cw filter? Yes there
is a filter button and when it is pressed I can vary the band width but
there is another button or menu setting that simply engages the 500hz
filter. The material I was looking at simply said press the filter button.
I have selected 500hz with menu 46 but there must be another setting to
change. I may not use the filter in the next two months but now that I've
started looking its bugging me.
Good luck and safe weekend to anyone in Florida.
Rich
