it does everything your average digital multi-meter does.
that is, measures AC voltage up to 700 volts, DC voltage up to 1000 volts,
measures resistance, capacitence, amperage and frequency.
It also has an audible continuity tester.
all of these speak by pressing the button on the posative probe, or the
button on the meter.
Fairly accurate from what i've been able to figure out.
It's digital so you don't have to set ranges or anything for each of the
modes.
I use mine all the time.
It comes with some pretty decently made fine tipped probes and a pouch to
keep it in.
it also has an auto turn off feature wich will turn the meter off after a
few minutes of no usage to save the battery.
I find the continuity tester particularly good for testing coaxes and
finding the right wire in cat5 cable from one end to the other...the
continuity tester emits a constant tone when there is continuity and nothing

if there is no continuity.
Considering the price, I would get one while they are still made.
