Hi Harvey;
The volume info was quite interesting. As others suggested I have installed
winamp and the bulk of my volume issues are fixed other than the fact that
there is still very little head set volume. I have gone through the volume
control settings and they appear to be at maximum. Should I be able to plug
this into the card directly or do I have to plug them into the amplified
speakers?
Richard

Richard, and anyone else who may be interested, here's a link to a good
presentation on the volume control.

It's supposed to be a download link, but when I tried it, all it did was
play it. But this is a good presentation.
