On the VR Stream II, I had my play button get slightly stiff, or
sticky, was just a little hard to push, so I sprayed just a small
bit of WD 40 on it not without some misgivings, but it worked! If
I have the same issue, I'd do it again. Jim WA6EKS

I have a friend who had the same exact issue as Buddy, and he
swears that he
did not spill water on it. The best he was able to do was to get
a 25%
discount on a new unit.

Buddy, clearly your persistance paid off. Just proves the greasy
wheel gets the squeak, ono it's the other way around! Anyway
that's great about you getting a new unit from HW. It's also
great that you offered them a new customer service template to
use for other future complaints. That idea of sending you
pictures of the problems with your VR Stream are utterly
rediculous. Good luck and keep us informed on the status of your
situation. 73, Jim WA6EKS
