Hi Frank, I bought a used ALS-600 with the old analog power
supply from a ham who lives a couple hundred miles from me. I
paid $850 for the amp and supply which seemed to be a fair price
compared with similar offers on e-ham or e-bay. That included
shipping as well. I have had it for maybe six months and it
works fine. 73, Jim WA6EKS

Subject: Blind friendly solid state amps

Hi all, I am considering getting an amp for 10 to 75m SSB. I
would like a s=
maller solid state amp. Does anyone have any recommendations as
to what may=
be easiest to use for someone who is totally blind. I have had
one recomme=
ndation of an Ameritron 600 but would like to hear other
opinions.
Thanks
Frank
