Hi Lou!

Just really a matter of personal interest. I absolutely can't stand the
Espeak synthesiser that comes with NVDA, but since I've got Eloquence
working with it, the experience is tolerable. Of course, that wasn't what
you asked about. Jaws innovations, well going back to 11 the only things
that I think are useful are some of the research it modules excluding the
sports ones. Don't have any use for that because I don't follow any teams
since I could care less about them. Wish they had a cricket or rugby module,
but that might help me make better sense of the locals, but FS would only be
interested in a suggestion if it benefitted the US market anyway.

73,
Dave

For years, I've been stuck at Jaws 11, not wanting to pay what FS wanted to
upgrade to Jaws 16. On the plus side, it motivated me to become familiar
with NVDA, which turned out to be a fairly pleasant experience. It's really
an excellent screen reader, especially given that its free. But I still use
Jaws for most tasks so I finally bit the bullet and am about to upgrade to
Jaws 16.

i'm just wondering what you all find to be the most useful inovations and
features in the last several versions. Thanks.Lou WA3MIX Lou Kolb
