To search for a particular call in the log in ACLog, do this:
1) From the data entry area, enter the callsign that you want to find. Put
this in the "call" field as if you are going to log a new contact with that
station. Note, this can be the first part of a call. For example, searching
for "N2" will find all calls starting with "N2" in them.
2) Press "alt+s" (that's alt and the letter s at the same time).
Alternatively, you could go to the menus at the top and arrow over to the
"search" item and press enter.
3) The matching records are now displayed. To move focus to that window,
press control+q (that's control and q at the same time).

Now if you want to edit or delete one of them, simply arrow down to the one
you want then press tab until you get to "edit" or "delete" as desired.
Alternatively, you can arrow to the record and use alt+e to edit or alt+t to
delete. Note, that's alt+t as in tango, not alt+d as in delta for the
delete.

Thanks guys for helping me with my issues with AC Log. I have absolutely no
idea why it was not working right for me yesterday, but I tried the key
strokes exactly the way Tom and Dave told me to do, and it would not work. I
tried and tried, and it would not work for me. I even re-booted my computer,
and it still would not work. This morning I got up and booted up my
computer, checked my email, and then, took a deep breath, and brought up the
AC Log program to try it again. Bingo! Now, it works just fine!! I have been
using computers since back in the 1980's, and the mystery of the "computer
Gods" still exists! Why those simple key commands would not work before, but
they work now is a total mystery to me. 

However, nobody has told me how to use the search function in AC Log. If I
want to find an entry way back 200 or more entries ago, how can I use the
search function to find it. I know it can be done, but I cannot figure out
how to do it. I know it is possible to use the ctrl-q key command to bring
up a list of all my entries and then, arrow down one-by-one to find the
entry I'm looking for, but the search function would make so much quicker
and easier. So, will someone tell me how I can find, say, IK6CWQ, if that
entry is buried way down somewhere in the middle of my log using the search
function.
