One trick I did with locked PDF manuals like that was to set the reading
order the way I want it, and set Adobe reader to display all pages
simultaneously, then copy the whole virtual buffer to the clipboard and save
it to Notepad. Omnipage will decode a locked PDF file. It asks you if you
want to override the password and goes ahead if you agree.

Subject: New Rig

I just bought a new Yaesu FTM400DR C4FM mobile dual band rig. Yaesu
offers a voice synth and recorder board and I have installed it. There
are only 5 buttons on the rig and yu can push the two tuning knobs. I
downloaded the manuals from Yaesu, but they are locked and I haven't
heard from Yaesu yet.

I will figure it out, and enjoy the challenge, but this is not an easy
rig to use, but C4FM interested me!
