Phil, I agree with your approach of using what ever resource that works best
for you. If one option doesn't work so well for you, and another works
well, obviously it makes sense to use the approach that is the easiest.

My personal problem, and I've been using QRZ for years, has never been with
looking up calls. I don't think anybody on here said they wanted a pissing
contest but then again, webmaster's always get one blind person saying,
well, it works fine for me, and another saying it doesn't. I've owned
website long enough, and fiddle with constructing them and changing them,
for many years, so it's hard to comply with everyone. I just generally find

the whole QRZ site about as speech friendly of pay pal, google groups,
yahoo, and many other large complicated sites. At my age, I don't have the
patience to sit in a pile up for 3 or 4 hours trying to work a new country
like I did when I was first licensed. The same is true navigating websites.

Besides, I have to stop and pee more often these days so I take the easy way

out and use my iPhone to look up calls.

Phil.
