Pat, of course they still make 9 volt batteries.  You can get them at most 
drug stores and probably get a box of 20 or more at Costco if you want.  I 
wouldn't sell the light app on the I-phone short.  I don't have one, but

Came across my old light probe recently but I don't have a nine volt
battery in the house!  Do they still manufacture them?!
I doubt that the iPhone light detector app. is sensitive enough to
see the moon!
