Am working through the book right now, Jim.

Haven't gotten to the list of gestures at the end, but will look.

I also have the reference card in Microsoft Word format that Anna prepared,
but that is by gesture type, not function, so it's not too helpful to me
right now.

NBP puts out a nice book on the IPhone, updated for the IPhone 6. It's in a
narrative style, and I don't find it very handy for a reference book. But
if you read it like a narrative it does clearly explain all the important
functions and gestures. It does have a list of gestures at the end as I
recall.

Alan:

See my private response, for some more thoughts and questions.

As I think I have stated here before, I've only had my I phone 6 for two
weeks, and have found learning its various functions and features to be
more challenging than I originally had envisioned.

However, I'm taking it slowly, so as to not get too frustrated, and will
keep at it.

I'm working through Anna Dresner's National Brraille Press publication, and
plan to check out the Applevis materials, as well as the voice over easy
tutorials as I get time here.

There are surely a million of them Tom, I am trying to memorize all of them
too. Did you get the 6 or the 6 Plus? I opted for the 6 Plus and am glad
that I did. I also just got a gadget/case called the Mophie. It is a case
that the phone slides into, and when the phone's battery runs down, you flip
a tiny switch on the back and the Mophie recharges the phone. It is slick
as snot! Alternatively, you can leave that tiny switch in the recharge
position and you then have the phone's battery and the Mophie to run the
phone on.

Bob and all:

I'd like one of these also, as I try to learn my new I phone 6.

I have a listing of the gestures, followed by their function, but I'd like a
list the other way around too--with function listed, followed by gesture.

Apologies for this OT posting but I posted on a couple of other sites more
related to the following question but haven't seen a reply and feel sure
there are iPhone or iPad users here who will know.

Has anyone developed a quick reference chart where the action of a given
gesture precedes the gesture? For example, To turn speech off or on,
perform a three finger double tap. If one exists, I won't need to do one in
braille or large print for quick reference as I still forget now and then.

Thanks!
Bob Martin
