The Logitech headset from Radio shack is a good performer. Get the one that
runs about $30. Gary KB2YAA

Hello Sean,
A few evenings ago my friend Buddy Brannan got me set up with Echolink
remotely.

We did not have to do any port forwarding don't really know why!

All he did was set my right control key to act as the push to talk switch.

I was able to talk to him directly on his node.

Haven't tried any other nodes yet or stations but will.

I'm also in the market for a good headset/mic.

My laptop has a microphone in it but to my ears when runnijng a test the
audio sounded muffled.

Thanks to you and all other members on this list for the Echolink help.

Eric
