Hi Everyone;

I am using the free program that KENWOOD uses for the 480.

If you put the transmit audio equalizer in the u position, you can define
the band with of the transmitted audio.

I tried it however, when I widen the band with from 2.4 to almost 3.0, no
one seems to be able to hear me.

Their is a setting in the program for attenuation.

It goes from 0 to 100%.

I believe that this may be the problem.

Has anyone had any experience with the transmitted audio on the 480?

Also, I questioned Leo at Kenwood's technical support about the number three
and number 5 pins being reversed and he said that shouldn't make a
difference when you are using a non-stock mic.

Thanks & 73 De Anthony W2AJV
