This is not good news, especially for someone who may let a new 590 
follow him home from his local ham fest next weekend!

@Sorry to hear that, Kevin.  That's the second 590 failure I've heard 
of.
Another friend of mine had a transmitter failure and HRO replaced his 
rig.
The new one has worked well.  Hope yours is fixed soon.  73,  Lou
