I have owned 5 or 6 Ameritron amps over the past ten years or so. I
recently sold an AL-82, and I am kicking myself in the ass for having done
so. I had an AL-15 at one time, and I still have an ALS-600, and an
AL-811H. All of them were post MFJ takeover as best I can recall. The
Ameritron plant is still producing the amps, and the quality seemed pretty
good to me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Ameritron if the need arose.

	Hi;
Thanks Mike;
Cushcraft was what I had in mind but wonder if the subconscious was
working. Guess I haven't followed these mergers very closely. I
believe they also took over amaratron. Wonder where the cash is coming
from? Any thoughts as to whether the quality deteriorated when these
companies became part of mfj?
