Butch,
You have to have audio coming from both receivers to notice what happens.
For example, if you press and hold the A volume control until you hear the
high beep, the audio from the B receiver disappears. Press and hold the A
volume control again, and when you hear the low beep, the B audio will come
back. Pressing the B volume control as described above will mute and unmute
the A receiver.
