Hi!

For about five years, now, I have been using the Elecraft KPA500 in
conjunction with the KAT500.
The amplifier is compact and the tuner slim line, with the strength to have
the amp sitting on top of it.

I use it in conjunction with the K3 which makes it even more versatile as
all three units change settings through the mutual data switching system.
However, the amp only needs a slight sniff of RF to enable it to switch to
the band in question.

I have used mine with Kenwood, Yaesu and Icom gear, and know of others who
have used it with Orion.

Subject: Blind friendly solid state amps

Hi all, I am considering getting an amp for 10 to 75m SSB. I would like a s=
maller solid state amp. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what may=
be easiest to use for someone who is totally blind. I have had one recomme=
ndation of an Ameritron 600 but would like to hear other opinions.
Thanks
Frank
