Thanks, Dave.  I just tried it.

Can you still fax in version 9.0?  

I'm using the pearl as my reading device, but it doesn't always give me a
complete image.

Yes, press alt h to pull down the help menu, Then press up arrow once to
check for updates. Then press enter. It will advise.
