What are the specs on the scanner, number of channels, portable base? if
you can let me know I can probably help you I know the hole radio shack line
of scanners, if not, type any scanner model number in to the radio shack web
site, old or new like pro-2030 and find the index of scanners in the results
list and just look through the ones that sound like it from the description
until you figure out which it is. I've done that, but I am familiar with
most of the radioshack line of scanners, I'm sure you can do the same with
the short wave receivers and stuff like that too, might even be on the same
page if you want I can send you a link to the index of scanners if I can't
help.
