Eric I would think connecting the electronic keyer wouldn't  matter that 
much.  On my 850, I regularly use my old Morse Machine and since I'm a 
left-handedsender, everything works fine.   sender, I let both  work and 
since I have perfect pitch, I set my morse machine up so the pitches between 
the two keyers are in harmony with one another.  73- pat kk3f
