It was dead zero beat on their frequency, fading up and down with QSB on the
band, and I said I saved each W1AW frequency to the same tone on each band
so I can identify W1AW from other stations. Plus, I tuned around and there
was no signal transmitting but the carrier. When W1AW came back on tonight,
the 20 meter frequency signal was normal. It W1AW had been transmitting
earlier today, I would have heard it because it is a loud 20 meter signal
here in Colorado and at the very least, I would have heard W1AW under the
carrier note.
