Hi all. Has anyone tried the antenna made by Alpha Delta, I don't rember
the model, but It is a dipole but it is not center fed. I don't remember
the lengths but it is supposed to work well on 160 and 80. I think the
longer length was somewhare around 92 feet. I have also often been
tempted to try building the 160 meter vertical that Phil designed. I
don't remember if Phil is still on this list, but I think his call is
W0NX. I hope I still have the article he wrote about it! HI HI. I live
in a mobile home park, so a wire antenna, well over 100 feet long is
probably out of the question! I still have a butternut vertical laying
behind the house that I am going to put up one of theese days, when I get
around to it, but you know how hard those are to find! HI HI! My plan
is to mount it right in the center of the mobile, so it will have the
whole rooff of the mobile to work against. I think with all of the
mobiles here, the antenna will think it's on the bround and will work
better in the clear.
