For those who are radio history fans, I've came across a site that has 
recordings of Major Armstrongs early fm experiments from the 30's 
through the 50's.  In addition there is a speech given by Armstrong to 
the Radio Club Of America.

Armstrong wasn't a ham but he has some good words on our avocation. Enjoy.
