1.  Turn off the TH-F6A
2.  Press and hold the function key (top key in the fourth column) while
turning on the rig
3.  Turn the tuning knob two clicks clockwise for a menu reset then press
menu twice

There are actually three levels of reset.  One click is for a VFO reset,
two clicks for a menu reset, and three clicks for a complete reset.  The
two presses of the Menu button (center of the circle) are to select and to
confirm the selection.  I have reset so many times through choosing the
wrong button to push that I have the procedure firmly commited to memory!

The 3 key (top of the third column) switches between A (low tone) and B
(high tone)
