Well, just set the hampod to read the display continuously.
Some while since I did it though, - it was a bit hit and miss as no way of
going back to text which had already gone through.
Somewhere in the menu or config is a setting for display text on the K3

I'd be interested in hearing more about your experiences working digital 
modes with the k3, especially concerning the hampod.  I've been meaning to 
try that but haven't had the time yet.  What menu settings need to be 
addressed in the K3 to get it to display text and how well does the hampod
