I'm going to give this a try when I get some time here, after I set up my
dropbox account.

I've been wanting to do this for quite some time, so all of your patient
assistance is helping me get to the next steps.

Regarding the ARRL Antenna Handbook I have, I'm not sure what the legalities
of sharing it this way would be, since I got the files from a CD that our
local ham club owns, so if anyone has thoughts on this, let me know.

In a purely technical sense, I guess it would not be legal, but I'm sure
it's done all the time.

Besides, the PDF files from the CD are accessible to us, while the print
book is not.

Tom,

The simplest way to share a file is to find it in Windows Explorer and
right-click on it to bring up a context menu in which one of the options is
to share a Dropbox link.  This option puts the link to the file onto the
Windows clipboard, and from there you can paste it into an Email message
which you send to me (or anyone else who wants the file).  You don't even
have to go to the Dropbox Website; the link sharing option is handled by the
Dropbox software you've installed on your machine.

On the other hand, if you and I were working on a project, we could share a
folder in Dropbox.  Either of us could put files into the folder, and any
changes made by either of us would be reflected in the folder's contents. 
In this scenario, an invitation is required, and you have to set that up by
going to the Dropbox site.
