Yes it is, and congratulations to Gary and his wife!

Part of our strength comes from surviving the curve balls life throws at us
sometimes.

Subject: My 20 meter Katrina run

I made 33 contacts in just under 2 hours. Most were at slower speeds, and a
few were short qsos.

I didn't want to post this on the list, but Gary was one of the people who
lost their house and possessions in Katrina. He came up to our hamfest the
following January, and bought a TS440 from the estate of a friend of mine in
order to get back on the air.

Earlier this year, he and his wife finished a new house, which I understand
is very nice.

It's always good to see somebody make a good comeback after such
devastation.
