Richard,

Turn radio on.
Make sure VOX is on.
(VOX ON-OFF is number nine on touch-tone pad in upper group of buttons on
right side of radio.)
Press SET button and hold until it beeps twice.
(SET is far right button on third row from bottom of buttons on right side
of radio.)
Press UP or DOWN button until you hear long beep.
(UP and DOWN are the two longer buttons in the bottom row at the
bottom-right side of radio.)
Long beep is number 1 in the QUICK-SET Menu.
Press UP (left longer button) twice more to get to number 3, which is
VOX-GAIN.
Speak into microphone and adjust gain by turning MAIN-TUNING control in
small increments, until you are satisfied.
Press UP button again to move to number four in the QUICK-SET menu, which is
VOX-DELAY.
Speak into microphone and adjust VOX-DELAY by turning MAIN-TUNING control in
small increments until you are satisfied.

Press SET button quickly to leave QUICK-SET menu.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Setting VOX gGain And Delay On IC-718

Does anyone know of an accessible way to set vox gain and/or delay on
an IC-718 either through Ham Radio Deluxe 5 or through the radios own
speech interface using the UT-102? Thanks in advance for any pointers on
this.
