Hi;
I am considering either the k1 or the 480 if I find a new home for my
kenwood 570. I do have a trivia question or two regarding the ts480. Does
anyone know if it uses the same d c power connector as the older kenwoods?
The power supply I'm using came complete with cord and plug. Yes I can
change the plug but it would be nice if I didn't have to.
Secondly, do they use the same plug for the alc and amp keying as the 570 or
have they gone to either a smaller plug or just to annoy some of us changed
the pin arrangement.
If anyone has any info I'd be curious.

As for that b & W antenna, I'm sure its not a wonderful performer on 160 but
it sounds convenient and if it worked reasonably well on 10 through 80
meters that is a step in the right direction.
Now I just need a wind storm to take out that rather large tree in my yard
and hopefully it won't fall toward my house.
