Hi,
I had to buy some parts for my Baofeng UV5R. There is a supplier out there
for the parts needed. If you don't find it, write back and I'll get you the
parts supplier. 73. Gary KB2YAA

1, Want a parts radio, or parts from,
A Baofeng UV-5R!

I know, they're $30 or so new on Amazon, but one was given to me, because
the display showed wacked stuff, but all else works fine_ So it's a
(_Perfect blind man's radio! Right?)
Anyway, it came with a battery and earbud mic, but no ant, charger, nor
cradle
so I'm needing an ant and charger and cradle of some kind!

Then, there's my 2.5 year old, 60$ uv5r from Import communications, which
still works flaulessly, except it needs the little slotted nut/(feels more
like a slotted washer,) which holds the Ant connecter to the radio, [much
like the little nuts which held quarter inch audio plugs to their chassises
or cases.]
}I'd been using the ht attatched to a JPole antenna, via one of those barell
SMA Male to SMA Female adapters; which was inadvertently over tightened, so
that when it was removed, it took the slotted nut with it, without my
noticing it until it was too late and the lil thing was gone:!}
***Now by this time, if you're thinking that the little slotted nut who's
writing this might need to be replaced------We'll leave that for a night
time round table discussion where King Arthur can moderate! (Come on! It's
a joke! Knight time discussion, Round table, King Arthur!!
Oh well, I tried! Mostly your patience??

***********Anyway, as I was saying before I so rudely interupted myself,
If you've got a dead uv5r or parts from one you'd sell or swap, please
advise.
2, Warning, All you uv5R users, be careful with, and of, that nut!!
3, May the True,_ Real,_ Hope,_ Joy,_ and Reality,_ offered by HIM, WHOSE
BIRTH is observed on this day, Become REAL To You, my dear blind ham
friends!!
Danny Dyer, Wb4idu.
