Hi John.

What about getting a small Mirage amplifier and using your THF6A to drive
it?  While it is a nuisance to hook and unhook it, that would at least get
you accessibility with power.  Otherwise, I think you are stuck with
looking for something like a Kenwood TM-3530A and dropping a VS1 board into
it.  And, the TM-3530A isn't that easy to find.
