Harvey,
No boundary issues at all. Roger was a really great guy. He will be missed
by many of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dear fellow graduates, 

With great sadness and deepest sympathy sent to his family, I share the sad
news that long-time Seeing Eye instructor, retiree, and volunteer Roger
Taylor has passed away this week. Many of you worked with Roger and if you
didn't, you certainly worked with someone who was mentored by him. He loved
The Seeing Eye and after his retirement returned here as a volunteer. The

Roger J. Taylor 

Roger J. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014, at Compassionate
Care Hospice at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover, N.J. He was 81. 

Roger was born and raised in Rochester, N.Y., before moving to New Jersey in
1959. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952
until his honorable discharge in 1954. Roger worked at The Seeing Eye, Inc.,
in Morristown as a Seeing Eye Instructor for 43 years before retiring in
2001. He was a former Fire Chief of the Mt. Tabor Fire Department and also
an exempt member of the Morris County Chiefs Department. 

Survivors include his wife, Nancy V. (nee Foster); his son, Rhys, and his
wife, Dawn, of Parsippany; his daughters, Marcia Constanzo and her husband,
Eric, of Roxbury, and Laura Lemanowicz and her husband, Kenneth, of
Parsippany; his brother, Colin, of North Platte, Nebraska; and his seven
grandchildren: Crystal, Kayla, Ryan, Kylie, Kelsie, Kirsten and Sara. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m.
on Saturday, February 8, at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road,
