I am plowing through old messages, and found this.
I to think it is interesting how many well to do hams their are on this
list.
Coincidence, I think not. I submit for argument, that the lessons learned
early by being a ham, were major contributors to people's success later in
life.
Furthermore, I believe that Ham radio pre-selects for people who are
intellegent, compitant, and have the qualities necessary to be successful.
They therefore should be lauded and appreciated for advancing the abilities
and causes for all blind people, and all ham radio operators.
That's my spin on this issue.
Remember, the millionaires don't take anything away that patience and code
can't replace.
Not learning the code is a choice, and 100 watts of CW is more efficient
than 2000 watts of sideband.
