Hi

Well, it warmed up in to the mid-thirties the other day and I went out
and added about 62 feet of aluminum electric fence wire to the ground side
of the 75 meter antenna. I figured that would complete the dipole. I used
twelve gage solid copper wire on the hot side when I installed that part
last year. Now, with both legs of the antenna up in the air I started
testing. It shows 1.7 SWR at 3.980 MHz and 1 to 1 at 3.945 MHz Then I ran in
to a trouble. When I tried to put a signal on 3.97 to test the SWR, the oric
air purifier started buzzing and it pull the GFI on the Oric unit. Well,
after the GFI was reset that unit worked as normal. My question is, how do I
protect this unit so we do not have this issue in the future? The radio
needs to live at peace with the rest of the house.

     Any ideas are appreciated.

God bless,

Mark
