I understand exactly what you are saying about radio reception at Ferris.
Basically, I will use the radio at home.  I have some pretty good luck with
DX on the GE radio that I currently have, but the power supply is going bad
in it, and I need to get a replacement.

Will seriously check into the CC radio.
