Hi All,

I am looking for a low cost 2 meter rig to put in my office here at work. I
have had trouble finding something with pl tones installed which is quite
necessary in this urban environment. The other day we were at Radio shack
and I was talking to them about the HTX-252 which is their single band
mobile. These are available for $159.00. Can anyone on the list tell me if
these are programmable by a totally blind ham including the PL tones? If
not, any other suggestions on rigs I might look at? There are a lot of
7850's and 7950's around here but none have the tone boards installed.
Also, has anyone used the ten meter radios from Radio shack and how
accessible are they?

Thanks in advance for your help. 73
