Well let's hoep the first USB to cerial  adapter works. I don't want to have

Hi Sarah,
The programming software for say a Kenwood THF6A will let you control
various functions of the rig such as programming in memories etc.

Unless your computer has a serial port you'll probably need to buy a usb to
serial converter.

Some of them work well others don't work so well.
