If I recall correctly, you are using N3FJP A C log.

You might ask Scott this question directly, since I know he has a function
to inport callsign  data into the program.

Scott is a computer programmer, so I suspect he can answer your question
very effectively.

Usually it would be through an API application program interface.

Software developers would use this programming interface and write it in to
their software so it can interrogate qrz in the background.
