Thanks, John, Ron, Lou and Gary. I have an internal antenna tuner on the 590, but I checked to make certain it was not engaged. Yes, Gary, it did act just as you say, as though my swr was high, but it was 1.0 to 1. Also, when I did the reset, my power level returned to normal and I didn't touch the external antenna tuner controls. John, I went online and signed up on yahoo and pressed the button to request a membership. I'll be interested to learn if Bob, K8LR, is allowed to subscribe.
