When I talked to Radio Shack, I was told that the catalog number I gave
corresponded to a power strip with wider spacing between sockets to
accommodate wall warts.  This wasn't what I was after.  However, I'll
look up that message if I have it and put it back on the list.

There was also a message mentioning a Howard Traxler and Traxler
Enterprises; he supposedly makes a "power strip liberator" much like
what I was thinking ought to be made.  When I wrote to the E-mail
address, however, it was as if I spoke into thin air; I didn't get a
reply.

So I went to Google and did a search on "power strip liberator" and came
up with a link to the website of Sousley Sound and Communications in
Yakima, Washington.  It's

They have just what you, I and the doctor ordered -- power-strip
liberators -- little three-wire cables about a foot long with a
three-prong male plug on one end and either one or two three-prong
female plugs on the other.  Very heavy-duty cable.  I bought twenty-five
of them and they came within a day.

Some time back there was a discussion on getting very short extension
cords for plugging in those big horsey power adaptors that cover up two
or more power outlits.  Naturally, I can't find the relevant message.
I seem to recall that someone said radio shack carries these things.
What are they called?  When you go into radio shack, it really helps to
know exactly  what you want.  We have questions, but they may not
always give the answer you were looking for!
