Kelvin,
I think this is "Teaching an old dog new Tricks". I know this is in
documentation or your recordings, just cannot find it.

If I want to edit a contact made 2 years ago how do I get to that record?

Hi John,

No problem! The type of confirmation is marked in the 'Rec Conf By' and
'Sent Conf By fields.

If you have an LOTW confirmation, either sent or received, an 'L' is placed
In the Field. If you confirm with a card, a 'C' is entered.

If you have both types of confirmation, the field with contain 'LC' or 'CL',
depending on which one came first.

When you edit a QSO, there are also 2 check boxes for sent and received. If
you check the 'QSL Rec' box, a 'C' will automatically be put in the 'Rec
Conf By' field. All of this can be manually amended, and this is how I add
incoming cards.

AC Log 4.2 also caters for EQSL confirmations. I don't use it myself, but I
assume something like a 'Q' would be put in the field alongside any LOTW or
card confirmation.

BTW, all of this must be the standard way of doing things, because if I
upload my log to Clublog.org. all the card and LOTW confirmations are
allocated correctly from my ADIF file.

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Subject: N3FJP AC Log

Kelvin and All,

I am playing with AC log using a screen reader and am having success. I
transferred my current contacts on XMLog and entered a few test contacts. I
also downloaded confirmations from LOTW.
My question is:
If I have confirmed contact by card how and where do I enter this? I am
probably just missing something obvious.
Can anyone help?
